The story
From challenge to solution.
The starting point
Jan Hempel is demonstrably the best diver Germany has ever produced. He ended his professional sporting career around the time D2 introduced text messaging to the market, then began pursuing business interests for the first time. The broader work of marketing him as a public figure, however, stalled.
The solution
Universal Brands by Oliver Hillebrecht took over the sporting legend’s personal management in 2017 and drew up an action plan. The first priority was to organise all his Olympic photographs and films, as the material existed only in analogue form. Universal Brands also created a personal website and another for his current company, Sportyfix.de, organised a photo shoot and much more.
